What we are

TorqueTitles is a private filing-preparation service. We are not a DMV, tax collector, Secretary of State, court, or any government agency, and we do not issue titles, plates, or registrations — government offices do. We prepare and submit paperwork as your agent. We do not provide tax or legal advice; questions about your tax duties or legal position belong to your own CPA or attorney.

Government offices decide outcomes and work on their own clocks. We publish expected government timelines honestly, but a government delay is not a service failure we can refund our way out of — see the guarantee below for exactly what is refundable.

The screen comes first

No checkout is reachable before the eligibility screen. Green files receive their route and exact price in writing before payment. Amber files proceed only after the required signed disclosure or written acknowledgment and human review. Red files are declined and never receive a payment link. If any answer in your intake proves inaccurate, we may stop the filing; the guarantee below still applies as published.

Prices and government fees

Service fees are the published prices on the Pricing page (powersports $749; cars/RVs $949; White Glove $1,499; Ownership Cover $99/year) or a written flat quote given before work begins. Government and third-party costs (county/agency fees, surety premiums, partner charges) are itemised at cost and are separate from our service fee. Payment links are issued per file after the screen; paying a link someone forwarded to you does not create a filing — every paid file starts with its own intake.

The guarantee

Refund until filed. If you cancel before we submit your filing to the county or agency, we refund our service fee in full. If we cannot complete your filing, we refund our service fee in full. Government fees are refunded to the extent the government refunds them. No time windows, no deduction ladder, no store credit.

Your responsibilities

• Your intake answers — garaging, use, connection, liens, title brands, insurance — must be complete and accurate; filings are prepared from them.
• You remain responsible for your home state's registration, tax, insurance, and road-use duties. A registration we file in one state does not erase another state's duties, and no filing makes a vehicle legal to operate where its class is prohibited.
• Keep your contact details and (for subscribers) your garaging state current in your file; law-change alerts and renewal reminders go to the details on record.
